How much will the book/s cost ?
This question is impossible to answer. You can expect to pay more for a book
through a Booksearch Service, than you would if you found the book yourself but
we do have access to the stock of thousands of dealers worldwide. As a very
rough guide, expect book prices to start at 10.00 GBP, but this depends entirely
on the supplier/s.
If price is a major consideration, you can specify a Maximum Price which you are
prepared to pay for any book. You can be assured that we will provide you with the
best quotation/s from the offers received.

How do I start a booksearch ?
Your first steps in aquiring an out of print book is to visit your local library to
confirm the details of the book/s that you require and then visit your local bookshops,
car boot sales, jumble sales, etc.,. We assume that you have already done these things
and that you have given up your search locally.
Your next step is to select a Booksearch Service.
We would emphasise that you should only request from one company at a time as this
will keep prices down and save a lot of wasted time and expence.
If you are unhappy with the first company or they are unsuccessful, cancel the
search with them and ask another company to begin a search for you.

Are there any charges ?
Most Booksearchers and Bookdealers will carry out searches without charge
so it is only good manners to notify them of your intentions.
Do not ignore any messages or correspondence. Have the decency
to reply to someone who is working for you without charge.

Are there any conditions ?
We will carry out a free booksearch for you on the condition that you notify us
immediately if you find the book elsewhere or the book is no longer required.
If we do not here from you to the contrary, we will assume that you agree to this condition.

What information is required ?
Please supply as much information as possible. i.e., TITLE - AUTHOR - PUBLISHER -
PLACE OF PUBLICATION - DATE OF PUBLICATION - HARDBACK or PAPERBACK -
EDITION REQUIRED - CONDITION REQUIRED - MAXIMUM PRICE (if you wish) -
SURFACE or AIRMAIL Delivery and any other information which may assist us with our search.
The more information we have the better the chances of finding your exact requirements.

We can accept all major currencies as well as most Credit and Debit Cards.
We can accept Sterling Cheques, US Dollar Checks, Banknotes, Western Union
Money Transfers, PayPal, Giro Transfers, Transcash, Visa, Mastercard, Maestro,
American Express, JCB, Solo and Non-Sterling Cheques and Banknotes by arrangement.

Am I committed to purchasing any books ?
When we find your requirement/s you will be sent details of the offer and we will quote
a fully inclusive purchase price, which will include postage and insurance charges.
You will then have to decide whether you wish to purchase the book or not.
If you decided to purchase the book/s, return your Order Form and Payment to us
and the book/s will be despatched directly to you.
If not, please advise us and we do our best to provide you with another quote.
You are under NO OBLIGATION and do not have to purchase
the book/s if you do not wish to do so. We do however request that if you obtain the book/s
elsewhere before we are successful, you have the courtesy to advise us at your
earliest convenience.

How Long Does Delivery Take ?
Although we usually place our orders with our suppliers on the day they are
received, we cannot guarantee they will be delivered on any particular day.
Please allow UP TO 21 days for UK and Airmail Delivery and UP TO 16 weeks for
Surface Mail depending on the distance.

Can I return any books ?
Upon arrival check the condition of the book/s immediately and in the unlikely
event that there is a problem please contact us immediately. Returns will only
be accepted if the book is not as described and we are notified within 7 days of
receipt. We reserve the right to appoint an independent assessor to verify the
condition of the book. DO NOT under ANY circumstances send the book to us without
our prior consent.
