Old Road / Low Road, Skegby In the mid 1950's this was the scene of an horrendous murder. On 15 December 1954, 27 year old Local man James (Jimmy) Robinson broke in and murdered, by strangulation, the elderly resident, Mrs Mary Ann Dodsley. He was soon caught and hanged at Lincoln Prison on 24 May 1955. |

Mansfield Road, Skegby Skegby Hall and Gardens were built around 1720. On the foundations of a much earlier building by the Lindley Family. The Hall has been in continuous occupation to the current time. |
